For any of you who have tried to keep-up with any (and by any I mean 3) of my previous blogs, you know that they are usually short lived. In the past, I've tried to confine my ramblings to Student Ministry, but I've realized that there is way too much craziness going on inside my head to limit myself to one topic. For this reason, I have decided to make a fresh start. Today begins my rebirth into the world of blogging!
Let me begin by explaining the title of the blog, " A Collective Progression." I must admit that this is not an original term. One of my students, Drew Burgess, first coined this phrase while sharing his testimony with kids at a sports camp. We all laughed at him because the term was way over their heads, but the more I've thought about it, the more it makes perfect sense. Everyday, God builds on what we accomplished the previous day; thus, making our lives a collective progression of His grace, mercy, and will. Way to go Burgess; you're an internet superstar (not that kind).
So there you go, another blog from the ultimate ADD'er. Maybe this one will last longer than 4 months.
