Post-Thrive Thoughts (0)

- Saw 4 more students accept Christ as their Lord and Savior!
- That's 33 commitments in the last six months!
- Close to 70% of those students are plugged into a Life Group
- Tim and I co-taught last night...so much fun
- Talked about the gifts/benefits that come from being a part of the "Christmas Party"
- It breaks my heart to know that some students can't stand Christmas because they won't be experiencing peace, love and hope
- The beauty of Christ's birth is the promise that we can all experience peace, love and hope
- On a lighter note, Tim dominated our Christmas version of "butt charades"...you had to be there

Finally, I want to take a moment to brag on our volunteers. This group loves Jesus, and desires for students to know and follow Him. There's no way that we could ever pull-off a week of Thrive without them. Love you guys! Labels:

Yesterday at Foothills, we saw 57 people profess Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord through baptism! It was such an amazing day!

-Talked about who's on the guest list: ordinary people, seekers, outcasts and skeptics
-Yep. That includes everyone.
-Yes, my GPS almost got me killed in a less than desirable area of Atlanta.
-Yes, Tim sang "O, Holy Night"
-No, he will not be getting a recording contract (at least not for singing).
-The band rocked...as usual!
-So excited to have Austin Bingham leading worship at Thrive. Dude loves Jesus.
-Pumped about next week. We'll be answering this question: What kind of party is this? Labels:
